Thanks Adamz and Squamish, just one image. It was very foggy yesterday morning.

Very cool regulator! Fog looks great and this is a good October spooky image for this month I think :)

The thing about this shot was "extreme" overcast skies and he's going over 100 mphs. I had my D90 set on ISO 640, F9 @ 1/1000. I was using my 70-300 (@300mm - no crop) hand held with the VR on. Obviously, I'd like to of had my settings a tab different but this speaks milestones for the D90 and the 70-300VR lens ability.

Thanks Pierre. Thats a fine looking fall image you posted. Elvishefer thank you I used F16 for the stars but with Zeiss lenses you can get them at almost any Aperature the quality of the ZF lenses is shocking. Great shot by the way! What kind of zoom is that with? Nice clarity.

Thanks kanuck, Squamish and Pierre.
Kanuck, I feel the same about Ektachrome, it's so difficult to get it right, but it's challenging and definitely rewarding!!! I have no DSLR right now (waiting for the D7K to show up here) but when I'll eventually buy one I won't stop shooting Ektachrome!Posted 2 years ago # -

gmarcovil, good idea. Just use two bodies. I use a D700 with an F100 for film especially if I go to really famous spots. I find its a nice combo. The D7K sounds like a great camera and worth the wait^^.
Nice shot adamz. What iso was that shot with on the D3s?

@kanuck - I think I took that squirrel shot with my 18-200mm VRII at 200mm. It's cropped, and I shake like a leaf so I was happy it held up as well as it did. Mostly I was happy he didn't throw stuff at me like they normally do. ;)

Adamz, we do not see too many D3s shots here, nice cat, he is really giving you the 'or else' look. The background bokey seems to have a pattern a bit similar to what I get through photomatix or when shooting through the mesh of a fence. Post more, I am curious to compare the D3s capacities against those of the D700.
I find your pictures would appreciate a more subtle, refined, stylish and/or artistic signature, but that's just my taste.
@jcvert1, very creative.

pierre - the bokeh is natural, the shot was taken straight w/o any disturbing objects between the camera and animal; as for the signature, will work on that - thanks.
