Make sense.
If you can afford the D3, you're probably pro and can afford the D3X or the D3S so why produce the D3 anymore?
Plus the D3S is still in such high demand.

Man, just yesterday I had been on that site.
Those D3 wallpapers were really nice. :(
Do any of you guys know where to get the camera wallpapers anymore from the Nikon world website?

You might be able to just email them and ask. OTOH, if you go on Google Images, it's probably floating around on a couple of other sites too.

Technically it's still there under Digital Archive.

The D3 was replaced by the D3S a year ago. I'm more surprised that it's still on their website a year later.
