Hey guys, I'm back in Boston for the school year and have a question.
I work for the "school" newspaper(actually the newspaper and the school got into a fight of some kind years ago, and we are no longer officially affiliated with the school, most likely because the paper prints, "the truth") and they have a few lenses for people to use to shoot sports photos. Normally I wouldn't be into it, but I am the associate photo editor and at some point I will probably have to (plus it would be an excuse to use a lens like this, hah)
So one of the lenses is a Tamron 300mm 2.8, and from what I've been able to look up, it's most likely a canon mount. I would just read the plaque on the lens, but it's pretty messed up and hard to read, here is what I can make out:
Tamron SP 300mm 2.8 IS ID
(possibly LS ID)
anyway, assuming for now that this is a canon lens (currently I have a d70 and a rebel xti, and am planning on selling the xti to help fund my d7000 purchase if everything works out) What kind of adapter would I need to buy to use this on a Nikon body?
thanks,
-Sumner
