PB PM - Was that from a RAW file or JPG?
Like most of my landscape shots, the last one was from a 14bit RAW file.
where there’s smoke there’s forum fire
Nice shots everyone,I enjoy coming here to see what everone is doing.
Treckie, very nice shot, what lense are you using?
Pierre I'm using the 105mm 2.8vr micro Nikkor. Just bought it 2 weeks ago and love it.
Now that is sharp trek. What f-stop did you use?
@arthtur : well done
@pb pm : love the colour of the water :)
@Treckie: wow MAN :)
@aslightdelay: thanks man :)
@studio460: I'm in love with verticals and thanks too :)
@adamz: thats nizamuddin bridge road,but yes I took that shot from Noida Road :) .On the other side of that bridge is Games Village ( one that got all the media attentions these days ) .
A family portrait.
Treckie that is a wonderful shot for sure. You mentioned using the 105mm VR which is superb I agree. Did you use a macro ring flash for that kind of detail by any chance?
The bee was shot at F8, ISO 200 and 1/250th of a second.
No ring flash, just sunlight. Thanks for asking.
This is not a great shot but a rare angle. Mt Washington on a rare clear day with zero wind which allowed a close flyby in a small plane. I was flying and taking, let's say snapshots, as I was doing a 360 around the summit. You can see the train and auto road.
F4 105mm f/2.5 Provia 100
I'm very impressed this month with the quality and quantity of posts. Very inspiring.
farmer, did you stop and get a "this plane flew mt. washington" sticker?
@ PB, that's a great close up!
@ Stan, wonderful tones and framing.
@adamz: Ha! These are my "throwaway" shots, since I really haven't had time to go out and shoot anything new lately. Didn't even notice the guys on the left!
@aslightdelay: I didn't expect so much commentary on this shot! I'm not a huge fan of its composition either--it was a quick grab while I was working.
Here's another image from my 'B' pile . . .
