@adamz: thats nizamuddin bridge road,but yes I took that shot from Noida Road :) .On the other side of that bridge is Games Village ( one that got all the media attentions these days ) .

Treckie that is a wonderful shot for sure. You mentioned using the 105mm VR which is superb I agree. Did you use a macro ring flash for that kind of detail by any chance?

The bee was shot at F8, ISO 200 and 1/250th of a second.

Used my 300mm F4 AF-S to get this close up shot of a glacier.

This is not a great shot but a rare angle. Mt Washington on a rare clear day with zero wind which allowed a close flyby in a small plane. I was flying and taking, let's say snapshots, as I was doing a 360 around the summit. You can see the train and auto road.
