Yeah, welcome all. That's one of the best parts of rumored/actual announcements is more people register here. It's a fun place to talk photo philosophy/gear/technique. Stick around.

in between I've one query not realted to camera ,but to related to avatar.how to change it ?I don't like the default one :(

I've been checking this site for over a year and just recently noticed the forum. I've own a Nikon or more from 1969 - 70 till today. I still own and use two lenses from the 70's a 16mm f3.5 was NAI I had AI'd by Nikon and the other is the 15mm f3.5 AIs. I love that I can still use old glass when I want to go light.

Thanks guys. I had been stalking for a while and am glad I joined up. I was a big macrumors guy since 2007 and I see a lot of the same good and bad here as there. I appreciate the technical aspect as an engineer and am becoming fascinated with optics. On a "needs improvement" aspect. I know there is a balance mods need to keep to allow people to discuss topics without beating a dead horse, but u feel there are some here who remind me of comic book store guy from the simpsons. I get it to use the search function bit the " that happened in volume 333 of radio activeman. Idiot". Seriously let people talk about what they want to. If the community as a whole wants to birch moan about the release cycle then let them Granted macrumors keeps it's " waiting for arrandale" thread consolidated but there is plenty of flaming and Mac bashing. Take it as you will mods, just my 2 cents about what I've seen and been peeved about. But back to the point I really like the site and I check it every day multiple times a day hahaha.

Thanks, I've learned a lot from this forum the past several months of having my first dslr. It's also very useful to learn about what else exists out there when you guys mention something like a graduated ND filter. and of course lens commentary. great forum.
