A Lifetouch employee has said Nikon already release/delivered D700s to the company. Employees also said that they also have received X1 from Nikon.

Can I be the first to say that I strongly doubt:
A: Lifetouch would be on the "early list".
B: The sad old photogs Lifetouch seems to hire, watching their life pass by wondering where the years went, watching as the frilly panties parade past on 8th grade class photo day... I doubt they could keep a secret.

So what you're expecting us to believe is that a D700s just magically appeared from out of nowhere.
X1? Nikon sent them a Leica camera? Or are you referring to the X1 green filter?
Neither seems to make much sense.

A school portrait studio gets top secret Nikon cameras before anyone else? I don't think so. Your "friend" must have been reading an old Nikonrumors article :^)
