Hello and a warm welcome to yours truly on this great site/forum !
If PENTAX and VOIGTLANDER can do it FOR GOD'S SAKE WHY CAN'T NIKON ?
I shall bombard every relevant forum with this plea until Nikon finally pulls its lazy finger out and manufactures this ESSENTIALLY easy-to-develop, fixed focal, ultra-wide, low distortion and low vignetting lens (for architectural interiors) for use by us DX prosumers. I shoot for real estate agency sales brochures and am disgusted with the cumbersome ultra-wide zoom lenses which are our only DX choice at present. I have to use lightweight DX models and prime lenses because of weight limitations dictated by my arthritic hands.
I'm sure Nikon could do a better job than Pentax regarding the distortion and edge sharpness of their beautiful little SMC DA 15mm f/4 Limited, truly a jewel to handle, but sadly incompatible with the larger Nikon bayonet.
Nikon must make this lens by Christmas or I will change systems to the dreaded PENTAX !
Any comments or signs of agreement folks ?
