Did not had much to do at night so I started painting trees with my flashlight on multiple 30 seconds exposures at ISO 2000, then combined them in Photoshop. Close to the bottom-right corner, there is a funny string of light, which is leaks from the side of my flashlight as I moved to paint the far tree. You do not see me because I was not staying long enough to block sufficient light from the street light to be noticible. In another thread we were discussing photo honesty, shooting pretty girls is almost cheating as it always makes interresting shots :)
Very nice work Treckie

Pierre: Interesting technique and a really cool shot. How many images went into making that?

That is a cool shot, Pierre. I meant to mention it and forgot to. Very nice! I've done something similar but painted with my SB-600 (firing with the manual flash button multiple times) and run around commando style to get the subjects I wanted lit in a single exposure. Now that I've got a nice RF remote that will do bulb I should give it another try. Hmmm...

Pierre: Interesting technique and a really cool shot. How many images went into making that?6 shots were needed, actually, it was very dark, I could barely see the road. I tried to bring myself into the picture by lighting my face but it is very hard not to move for a full second so the result was not that good. I should had thought about my SB600.

redux of my log shot, from a few days back. This time shot with my FTN with kodachrome (just got it back in the mail today)
Unfortunately I had to do A LOT of color correcting as the roll had turned pretty badly and everything was awash in blue. Not as noticeable on this one, the ones I'll post in the next couple days though are a lot more obviously affected.Posted 2 years ago # -

great shot pb pm, I think I would have liked to see the horizon cropped a little differently, but beautiful beautiful shot.
Bland- great color capture of that band, I love the white shirt and white guitar and the beanie with the other colors in the shot as well.
Treckie- As everyone has said that BW shot is just stunning.
Jonny- great captures

One of your best, Regulator. My eyes don't know whether to look at all the buildings, all the sky, or the reflection in the building on the right. I also love the symmetry of the little buildings peeking out of the top/bottom center. So interesting!

Really striking composition, Regulator.
