Well, like I said, 30 seconds of having the camera in my hands and I was convinced it was usable—jog dial to adjust, press bottom of jog dial to switch between aperture and shutter speed. ISO is much more difficult to change but still not terrible (6 seconds: 4 total button presses and a jog dial scroll to change the setting).
Those are really the only settings I'll change. There's a button that would be perfect to assign to ISO (the main one that the jog dial surrounds). Maybe they'll change it in a firmware update. If not, it's still usable. My feeling is if you're only going to have 8 buttons on your camera, you ought to make them user-assignable. Maybe in the NEX-7...
