Of course if Nikon announces a new "affordable" (under $2000 dollar) full frame camera then it'll be interesting to see how that affects the used D700 market.
OK SpayNPray, now we're starting to get off topic...kind of.
Not to mention Nikon has been really bad with anticipating demand for these new products lately. I would imagine the D700 may be quite popular even with the new full frame model out.

I feel like that about the D300. If I were able to buy a D300 or D300s, I would buy the D300 even if there was little difference in price. When something is right, it's right. Same applies for the D700 for me.
