I have had my setting on vivid with a plus 1 saturation for my standard shooting. I like the extra punch in the colors. But I noticed the other day my shots indoors were an unnatural yellow tone and when I switched to standard, everything looked much better. So, I just wanted to get a feel for what folks are generally using for their normal picture control settings and also for white balance. What works for you?

It does sound like it was a prolem with the white balance selected that caused your yellow cast. I use auto white balance and vivid as std and haven't had that problem yet (D5000).

D3s; I have it set on auto white balance. The yellowish color was more on the faces....not terrible, but noticeable.
