since last time somebody went crazy for the canon 70-200 F4 coffee mug, its manufacturer from china(Long Live Made-in-China!) decides to bring us the 70-200 again, and a Nikon 24-70.
Myth 1
It's plastic inside. it gives you plastic taste while drinking coffee.
busted! both the canon last time and nikon this time are from the same manufacturer!
Stainless Steel inside.
Myth 2
Its cap could be used as a lens cap.
busted. if it's true, then you can use a lens cap as its cap in the same way. i dont think any of your lens caps are Water-Resisted.
Myth 3
the outside of the cup is of very low detail infact. that product photo was photoshopped from a real lens.
yes that is photoshopped; they need enough pre-sales to begin their work and now they have to PS one.
but i think it will be as detailed as the canon ones, same reason to Myth 1.
remember always: CHINESE MANUFACTURERS ARE ALL TALENTED IN COPYING.
Myth 4
they are too expensive.
CONFIRMED.
$50 on amazon, but here on taobao.com
65yuan for 1000cups at once
115yuan for 10cups or less.
115yuan = $17USD.
the ones on Amazon are provided by HK sellers, and it would be much cheaper if you purchase them on XXX, mainland china.
and that's all i know.
