Hi Everybody,
I need a new DSLR for my holidays. I’m leaving in late June and I’m going to buy a Nikon D90. I know that this camera will be replaced soon. With the new Belgian Cashback offer (70€), I can buy a new D90 for 679€ (+/- 850$) or a D90+16-85 for 1099€ (+/- 1285$).
Based on your experience of previous Nikon’s replacements, do you think the replacing of the D90 will be at the same price?

The D70,D80, and D90 were all $999USD body only or $1299USD with a lens when they were first introduced. The D90 replacement will probably be the same although depending on the features it could be more than that since it will be a new series number such as D7000 or D9000, or D4000.
So if it has more features than the D70, D80, D90 then it could cost slightly more like $1299USD for the body only or $1499USD with a lens.
Guys please look over the currently active threads and do a forum search for older threads before starting new discussions. If you want to talk about the price of the future D90 replacement then use this thread instead of asking the same question in a new thread.
