That's pretty close to how it came out of the camera. With the UV blocking filter replaced with a visible light blocking filter you get crazy colors when you can't shoot in black and white (which the D50 can't do). So I like to keep or tweak the colors some times.

Sadly I parted with the camera yesterday. Needed the cash... :(

665nm should be yellow or orange, can you tell us sth about the conversion?

I know I hardly ever show color images, but I had a few rolls of 120 velvia 100F and portra lying in my fridge so I figured what the hell.

1951 Rolleiflex Automat X, Fujichrome Velvia 100F, and a morning where we woke up just a bit too early.

i got you: you killed the 665nm and longer wavelenth(red orange yellow green), so there's only blue in the picture.

Monty11 I like the film grain in your black and white and the image itself is good. Looks like Ilford 400 maybe? Chris nice use of a difficult film especially with that bright light very cool and difficult to get with Velvia! Nice portraits here as well Stan and studio460. I like how you look for surreal images Quadrapixel both shots are nice. Motorcycle crome, sharp wildlife, blurred motion nice first page this month!

Thanks Kanuck. She wasn't posing for me here. She was working a booth promoting a product at a local music festival in Barrie, Ont. I got another one of her the next day which was posed for me.

took a weekend trip to LA. No offense to any LA residents, but I really hate the city. I guess strongly dislike would be a better way to say it. Anyway this weekend I was pleasantly surprised by the museum of jurassic technology which was a lot of fun to walk through and fun to photograph, what could be photographed anyway.

the 3d xrays of flowers were pretty cool.

anyway this photo of a mobile made out of a bike tire spoke and bells turned out the best I think.

Excellent perspective Regulator75 love the clouds also. This photo will be used in a summer Ssangyong motors advertisement here in Korea. Kind of a youth behind the wheel marketing hitch I believe^^

thanks, I've been playing more with color in medium format recently, which I've found I like quite a bit. It's certainly not going to replace my black and white films, but I never seem to be disappointed with my medium format chromes.
