Fraew, you've got the Christian Bale Batman look down right. You should co-star with me in a Hollywood western or something :^)
Hey Jessi !!! I'm glad I could lure you out. Good to know your here and please don't hesitate too often. We're all here to learn. But for someone who only started photography in April!?, your pictures sure do put the rest of us to shame. You've got some great images and a lovely family. I vote your portrait the best so far. (Sorry Gentoo yours is a very close second... the one with the penguin not the I-just-got-out-of-prison-now-make-me-some-pancakes looking one :^)
Mike (moregan17) are you cropping those girls out of the picture because they don't know about each other? Ah, you little rascal you!
EdEnd good work on your portrait. If fraew's schedule doesn't work out then your my next choice for the Hollywood western :^)
Thanks everybody for playing along. Come on...who's next. It won't hurt I promise!

niko.. wheres your pic? hahah

Looking good ryanyboy! I like the effect. Was that taken at a pub?
Moregan17, what?! I can't possibly look like an older, but younger and much better looking Brad Pitt? I'm very offended :^)
Maybe when 5 more member portraits are posted I'll put up a "real" picture... or something.....maybe.... a baby picture... perhaps :)But really when you play cloak & dagger with the "rumors" you can't afford to have a face with a name. It makes things easier when "They" don't know what you look like....wait then maybe I shouldn't be using my real name around here.... D'OH!

Bless you NikoDoby. I guess it could be worse - I'll be 38 in a few months!!! Sob......
It was taken in a restaurant call Frankie & Bennie's. Do you have them in the US?

Does everybody has about the same problem with getting pictures of themselves? It seems like I always give away nice shots of others but the pics they make of me are almost never really good enough. Finally you are at the exciting landmark, you need to have your picture taken there of course, and you'll end up with some tree growing out of your head of your body blocking almost all of the characteristic features.
Nice to know for those people there are small cameras that have face recognition, but why not include a background analyser as well so at least those lovely people get some help composing the photo ;)
All these photos do however show the diversity of people who are into photography, it's just like we are humans after all! Of course we all know we aren't, we're the superheroes with integrated surrounding analysis computers that can do what others can only dream of. But let's keep that our secret ;)
I wonder if people will recognise me next week when I'll open my first exposition. Maybe I should wear a t-shirt saying: 'yes it IS me, just imagine a camera in front of my face and you'll see!'

Oh and Jessi... we all started with photography at some point and still find out after all those years we have plenty to learn. You can be sure of one thing: there's too much out there to take photos of so you'll never run out of reasons why you need your camera, lenses and more cameras and lenses, etc etc.
Just for you it would be better to have a system that doesn't cover your face, unlike many others out here there's no need to use a camera mask to be accepted by society ;)

Here's my mug, maybe I will work up the courage to show a photo without shades.
Hey Gentoo that second pic is priceless.

No aprille, Gentoo was just his nickname in prison because he was one of The Penguin's henchmen ;^)

Ahh, I see.

Yeah I worked with them a while ago. What's funny is at that time, the Gentoo's were my least favorite lol

Haha I was wondering where the name Gentoo came from...
At SeaWorld?

Oooops ! I thought the picture would be pasted… Well, at least you have the link, and while you're there, if you like airplanes, have a look at the gallery :o)
Surely there must be an easier way to post a picture ?…

Ohh cool...how did you get that job?
