Canon has a press release saying they have now made an equal number of EOS DSLR (digital) compared to the number of EOS SLRs (film) cameras they've made. 40 million in total.
I wonder if Nikon is close or if they have already passed that point too? Though canon is only counting their EOS line. Where would Nikon start counting on the film side? The EOS line started in 1987. Should Nikon start counting from the F4? Or maybe from the F5 since that's still the current body design?
