Nice work Monty, what kind of light source did you use to paint and how long of an exposure did it take?
I know an Aussie who paints landscapes with light, specifically a flashlight, he normally needs 20 minute exposures to create his art.

Bland, nice shot. I was going to go to a bike race today but when I opened the box, the lens I got on Monday was not the lens I ordered. Had to send it back and am still waiting for them to send the right one....

anyway took this one today. Went all they to my neighbors yard to take it. I'm exhausted...

I know an Aussie who paints landscapes with light, specifically a flashlight, he normally needs 20 minute exposures to create his art.

First, I'd like to add that this was a group effort.
Main light was a DIY lamp with two 50 cm full spectre daylight tubes, a huge flashlight on the right hand tree, small off camera flash with a yellow filter on the left hand tree, studio flash with a yellow filter on the trees on the background and the driver turning on the lights for 1-2 seconds. That is a 30 second exposure.

Something from my own balcony. I think that the family of 3 (2 cups and the mom) nested on the ceiling of my bedroom this winter and now they are hanging around in the trees.
This has been the only opportunity to shoot them and the harsh midday light does not do them any justice. I like the mother-cup bond in the picture and I hope to capture them in the early morning or evening, but I'm running out of time quickly as due to the very warm weather all the leaves are growing like crazy.

In Europe we call them Red Squirrels as opposed to the Grey Squirrels imported from the USA. Here in France they are common, but in the UK they are less so. Nice pic - mega awww!

They are very common here, but they are indigenous to Eurasia. Here we call them rats with fluffy tails but they sure are cute :) Here where I live (suburb of Tallinn) they used to be more scarce but after the power company installed thick power cables the squirrels adapted them as their little highways and their population went up. I guess less of them got ran over by cars or caught by cats and dogs. From the looduspilt.ee link you can see a lot more of them.

Treckie, just to be sure: this was a zoo picture and you were just joking, right? After NikoDoby's comment I wasn't so sure about that anymore. I hope this wasn't real...
