The Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 IF-ED has been out of stock at B&H, J&R, Adorama, and Amazon for quite some time now. I'm guessing that could mean that there is a new "G" and "VR" version on the way? Any thoughts?
Anyone else notice this?

I would love to see the new version of this lens with vr, nano coating and same price tag. I would also love to see nikkor 400/f4 with a decent price tag.
