HOTDUCK!!!!!! Wait I can't shout that.
On the subject of dynamic range what was wrong with Nikons? I saw the video and didn't see Nikon get thrashed.
Nikon's grain is much better than canons in still photography so why does it suck in video mode... Visit Dxo mark for clarification..

I agree with kyoshi. The color looked better to me on the D3S too.

and the D3X is considered tops among all current DSLR cameras as well. I think the D3 line will go down in history as being a significant step in the technology of digital cameras. Just look at how many bodies Nikon has released from the D3 designed censor. I used to think Canon had an edge in color as well, but I can't see it when I compare my D700 to my brother's 5D Mark II.

of course it's really unfortunate that the tests were obviously canon leaning, it would have been nice to see them crank the iso a bit.

The film guys didn't look to highly on the D3s, until it came to the high ISO tests.

I haven't had a chance to watch them all the way through, but it would be nice if they also compared them to pro level 2/3inch sensor and a pro cine camera like the Red One.

Hey HotDuck Z, how are things in Thailand from your perspective? Is the turmoil as bad as they make it seem?
Yes that's a waaay off topic question but I'm just curious to hear a first hand account.
