I don't think that cell phones are ever going to actual replace DSLR, but I do believe that they will slowly replace P&S cameras, and if Nikon is hoping to keep their Coolpix line healthy, maybe they should actual make a coolpix phone
Yes this was covered before and most on NRF did not think that this would happen either, however Sony's new 14.1 MP sensor is found in several P&S models and brands, what will be next, properly a Cell Phone
Not everyone wants a smart phone, I for one one would love to have a compact phone with the same IQ that is found on the latest P&S, so I really think that if Nikon want to survive in the compact camera market they would have to start making a Camera phone.
