I was trying lightroom beta 3 on Windows 7 -64 bit and find it to be really sluggish compare to my Mac especially during processing like crop and adding mask.

    Computer Spec:
    Q6600
    8GB RAM
    4870x2

Compare with Macbook 2.53ghz with 8800gt

    Anyone?

LR3 beta on both, you mean? You might try the lightroom forum. It's really active and I've always gotten good answers there.

    yep. both LR3 beta

Figure that my desktop resolution is higher and if I use windowed mode instead of full screen it will be much smoother.

    weird...

I have a macbook unibody (non pro) with only 2 gigs of ram, and it runs fine on both windows 7 and leopard (with bootcamp, not parralels or anything like that)
