So has any one got one?

I am thinkin of using one to show case my folio
I often meet potential clients when socialising and I dont want to carry a lap top
A paper folio is allways going to be out of date and can only contain a limited Number of images

The big plus, for me is it LOOKS Cool

I am a PC user myself but , many of of my existing clients are Mac fans

Yes, I know its over priced and wont do flash

    But it looks impressive

I have a ipad. I got it just for portfolio bassed but ive been too busy to update it regularly. I usually just use it as a everyday websurfer for everything when i dont want my laptop.

You get over the whole flash thing quickly if you have a iphone/ipad combo. hahaha

It's great for showing off photographs, the multitouch does shine in the photos app, especially being able to "un-pinch" to expand an album to see the underlying photos. the Apple iPad videos are worth checking out to see what I mean.

I've been using Adobe PS mobile on the iPad for some editing on the go. As it's free, it definitely gets the job done in it's simplistic way.

Like smarterchild I have got over the whole flash thing - but I still think that Apple should make Flash an optional install. I understand why they don't allow it, but if Adobe developed a really good mobile version of Flash (the current version is truly terrible) then Apple would have little excuse.

As to the price - mine now accounts for 80%+ of computer access time. Definitely worth every penny. Sure, it would be nice if it was cheaper, but until competitors come to market with something that is on par or better than the iPad (and is cheaper) Apple can dictate whatever they want...

Well to the best of my knowledge (and most rumour sites) there isn't anything too imminent. It is a persistent rumor though, but a 7" now would be odd - if it has all the same specs as the 9.7" it will be left behind when the new iPad comes out next year, and Apple like keeping to set schedules (iPhone, iPod - all regular updates). So if there is to be a 7" it'll be released at the same time as the new 9.7", with a front facing camera and at least the same RAM (512 MB) as the iPhone. Besides that I've no idea what else the new iPad holds!
