haha Smarterchild some castle in France?! Thats what happens to me when I travel because I end up going to a wonderful place and see too much so I forget every fantastic place I see unless I write the locations down or they are really famous. Like when I went to Italy I saw so much that by the time I returned home with about 5,000 shots some of them became Michelangelo's something! :)D
Great shots on here. Wind, do you live in Australia?

Hahah exactly. This was actually taken on my Nikon Coolpix camera before my D90 hahah. i just digital enhanced it :). Color balance, then de saturate about 60%, Apply overlay and i did a photoshoped lensflare in the corner of the sky.

And last photo of the rabbit...this one's just too cute lol. They're amazingly hard to photograph.

Good Morning Wind and Squamish,
I would love to tell you that the shot of the lynx was from my hunting/tracking skills, however if you look closely in his left ear, you will see "property of the zoo" stamped in there.Posted 3 years ago # -

Quality photograph regardless. I wish I had a zoo nearby that actually had some good animals to photograph.

Here is the real deal, a fellow photo geek and I shooting black bears in the wild. I was as close as 3 feet to wild bears. that was an adrelaline rush. Scary and awe inspriring at the same time.

Treckie, I have envy of that scenario. The only time I've been 3 feet from a bear I was in the woods and it was trying to either eat me or be my friend in the most aggressive way possible. Sadly, the only camera I had with me then wasn't actually a camera, it was just a stick and it worked rather well at keeping the bear from pushing me down. I can only hope the next time Im that close I have a camera that isn't actually a stick and that the bear doesn't want to cuddle with me.
Do you have any close up shots of the bear that you can post? I can only imagine how great the detail is in the shots. :]
