I was feeling nostalgic about my Japan trip today as I worked endlessly on my statistics project.

If you want to apply a border or frame before submitting, open your photo in Photoscape.net. They have a nice frames selection. You just scroll down to whichever one you like, click on it and it applies to your photo. If you don't like the look you just choose another one. Typically I'll save the framed version as something like jpeg 054framed, for example.

What white blotch? Looks good to me!

Spraynpray, you are right! What blotch? It must have been something I was drinking???
Good job actually! I started to fix it, but it was late and I decided I needed sleep. Not sure I could have done as good a job as you did with it.

The yellow border only shows up in some browsers and it's when the image is inside a link. You type it in this way:
<a href="http://www.website.com/link.htm"> <img src="http://www.website.com/image.jpg" /> </a>You get the yellow border when the image you post is itself a link to what would normally be a larger version of the image somewhere else. In the line above, the href section is the external image that will show when you click the image here. The src= part is the image that will appear here. Depending on where your images are stored, the image dispalyed here would typically be a smaller version. Using 800 pixels wide for the image here works well, and is viewable on most peoples monitors without scrolling sideways.
The href= part of the line does not have to be a valid link to a larger version of the image. You can just use the text above, and you will get a yellow border. When the person clicks the image to go to the original, then they will get an error, as it is not a valid link. But it still gives you the yellow border.

HAH! Got it! I don't know how or why, but it works.
Thanks sandpiper.

It also shows up when you post from flickr. When someone clicks your image they are then sent to your flickr photostream.
If there is no border then the image is just "static" or it has no link.

We own the thanks to jonnyapple, who figure out, or already knew, how to post the code and have it remain visible. Normally when you try and post sample code, the web browser thinks it's the real thing, and tries to display an image. Jonny figured out to surround the sample with the "code" tag to tell the browser to display the code intact so we can see what it should look like.
