Hehe ... all I can say about the settings was a tiny hole and a 30sec exposure on RS paper in bright mid-day sunshine. I don't really know how to calculate the f-stop. I've also developed the film from my hand-made pinhole camera and will scan them in soon.
Something from my BW roll again:

Nice pictures everyone!
jonnyapple, love the scooter picture! Stupid question perhaps, but what focal length do you get when you don't use a lens? Something like 50?
heartyfisher, very nice shot of a very weird bird :)
SquamishPhoto, very nice colors!Posted 3 years ago # -

Treckie.......normally I don't care for slow speed shots of waterfalls. But that is absolutely beautiful, wonderful capture!

Thanks Bland, Thats a shot of the Cascade River just before it empties into lake Superior.

treckie - great photo, love the way You captured water; however, one thing that distracts me is the part of branch in the foreground (middle bottom part)

Regulator75: Nice shot of the railway line there, the mood is well captured.
This isn't the best shot, but it captures the scene well enough, I think.

Wow, PB PM, nice shot, love the reflection!
Regulator75, good colours and compo in the railway shot, something mysterious about it.Posted 3 years ago # -

While on the way to shoot the geese yesterday, I came across this Western Kingbird on a fence along my driveway. I realize the ugly white blotch behind the bird is distracting, but I hope to keep posting until I get it right! Critiques welcome.

I like that crop much better than before Trekie.
Nice pictures Sandpiper.
Still photos from the Bugatti Circuit spraynpray? What turn were you shooting from? Nikon Europe is a sponsor for this years 24hr race at Circuit de la Sarthe in June. Are you planning to go to that?

Hi Niko,
Those pics are at the Dunlop and Le Houx chicanes which give good value if you don't have a press pass (oh for a press pass). The Dunlop is the first big stop after the start so always good for action plus it has a grandstand.
I will not go to the car 24hr this year as I am too busy but next year for sure. The MotoGP is the best bike event but by the time I got to book it the grandstand at Dunlop was full and so I won't bother. Much better class of public at the MotoGP than the 24hr bike race.
I have another early morning shot that I will post shortly, but it is so misty and dark that it is not very good (not that any of them are so far).
Chris: That balloon looks like it has a blood supply.....
