I left my battery in my DSLR when I went to college for about 2-3 months. It still has a full charge. Ideally, I should have discharged it to 50% and taken it out, storing it separately.

Now that I'm back for Spring Break, should I recharge it anyway, or should I discharge it completely by leaving the LCD on forever, then recharge?

Depends on battery, newer Lithium polymer batteries does not have problems or requirements for recharging even if full, if you do not intend to use them for much longer (a year or so) you should only then discharge them to 40-50 percent and store them in cool and dry place (not freezer).

I've found that modern batteries are pretty resistant to abuse - unlike, say, five years ago. If I were you I'd just carry on using it as normal and not worry.

As mb says, it's only if they're going to be unused for a year or more that you need be concerned.

I honestly don't charge any specific way, if that kills a battery I will just get a new battery

Yeah, thanks, I think it'll be fine. Just a little paranoid.
