Hello,
Why US keeps getting rebate program and nothing touches Canada? Anyone has any info on this?
If there is rebate, I will go ahead to buy D90 without waiting for D7000 anymore.

They have rebates because Nikon USA is offering them. Nikon Canada on the other hand is not offering any rebates.
The Nikon USA rebates have been extended until May. So all of you procrastinators can still get a good deal.
Maybe I should move cross the border!!!!
You can, just be prepared to pay duty, and have no warranty.
meh, just have an online retailer ship to a friend in the states and go pick it up.
true, warranty support is a bit tricky, but not impossible, as long as you know a resident who can proxy for you.
good luck, prices are really sweet right now, since the loonie is on par.
Another option is eBay. I know one of Canada's bigger retailers sells at the US price via the eBay store.

Do u mean henrys? I know it is the biggest in my place. But the fact is even I buy from Ebay, I still can not get warranty covered properly and easily.
I think it is better just prey fro rebate and start to bargain hard with local sellers...
Why would you not get a warranty? (don't mention company names here) That dealer sells brand new, warranty covered cameras from Nikon Canada.

are u sure the Canadian seller on ebay selling camera in US price will also include warranty from Nikon Canada?
Yes, they are selling a product from Nikon Canada. is just that the listing is in US, they are still authorized seller. Or if you live close by just print a copy of a the complete listing with the ending price. They will have no problem matching it.
And if you are going to buy from them ask to pay in Canadian funds if you dont have a US account(to save currency conversion).
cool, I will seriously consider that option
Thanks
