No sorry, the D300 "only" ranks in at #26 on the list :^(

yeah but I still prefer Leica for it's size. Come on nikon micro 4/3 system would be a nice spring present for me!

Just remember that this ranking only factors in the sensor and ignores all other qualities of individual cameras. But we won't complain about that until canon gets a camera into the top 5 ;^)

The almost perfect for it's class D90 ranks #17 as opposed to it's direct rivals which are numbers 24 (Samsung Gx 20), 34 (Pentax K20d), 39(Sony a550),and the 49(Canon 50D).
It's indirect rivals are also below it too #18 D5000, #22 D300s, #26 D300, #27 Sony A700, #32 7D, #33 550D, and etc...

I'm not surprised but I would be a little upset for my 7 grand. Leicas can't compete with an all around do everything camera. The M9 basically gets destroyed by its low light ability otherwise it would have scored well or at least in the top 10. Leica shooters generally don't care and will buy the body anyways. Look at all the flaws the M8 had and people went out and bought it no questions asked. Even when problems were widely reported about the UV on the sensor...
