@ sevencrossing...yes I like the idea of the second card to use when the first fills. I just hate to open anything on the camera in the field. In fact, I will carry a lot of equipment back to my car in order that I can change a lens in a controlled environment.
Now, if we can find our way back to the D5000 topic.... so, if someone wants to discuss cameras with Dual card slots...maybe it should be a new thread called "Dual Card Slots and Their Use"
