I just looked at Adorama's website and the bundled price of the D300s with 70-200VRII saves $20.00. I hope this is an error, it's certainly not enough to get me to buy faster.
Rebates? Bundled Prices? Doesn't seem like it.

Yes its interesting all the bundled prices, but looking through the list I didn't see anything that would motivate me to make a new purchase. I guess its to stimulate stagnant sales? Sell dated gear before new releases come? Of course not all the gear is dated like the D3X and D300s, 70-200mm VR II etc. Any thoughts?

yeah it seems a bit odd, for instance this one:
Nikon D90 Digital SLR Camera with 24-70mm f/2.8G E D-IF AF-S
is a bit odd as the bundle comes out to:
$2519.90when I can buy a d90 for $790 (abes of maine)
and the lens for $1640 (tristate camera)
which totals.... $2430.
or $89.00 less than the bundle.seems like a rook to me.

I though that the rebate program is effective since 1st of March, just wait one more day
