I just received the one I ordered a few weeks ago. Got it for $200 flat and had it sent to my parents PO box in the US so I didn't have to pay any shipping. Its a beast, but it sure makes me feel safe about taking my gear just about anywhere. Anyone else have one of the DryZone series? I was originally going to buy the Rover model, but I got the run-around from a local store that eventually just refunded my credit card. Then I looked online again and found it at B&H for about $15 more than I was going to pay for the Rover.

It's an ok bag just very pricey for what you get. Not sure about the model you got but I don't like that the harness belt isn't detachable. It gets in the way a lot.

I got the DryZone 200 which retails for double what I paid for it at most of the places I've looked at. Living in the pacific northwest its inevitable that things get wet and this bag feels like I could throw it in the ocean and not have to worry about it. The harness attachment does fit rather high, but once you fill the bag up and strap a fat tripod on the back its really nice to be able to adjust everything really snug to your back for long approaches. I can get 2 bodies, 300mm, 14-24mm, 105mm, 50mm,flashes, lunch and tripod and still have room to spare. Considering that Im a climber and will be filming video at the same time as Ill be shooting stills it was a no-brainer to get this bag and since it was 50% off it was hard to say no. Its by no means an everyday bag and I didn't buy it with that intention. And if I can ever stop blowing money on camera gear I'll finally get that sea kayak I've always wanted and then I can truly justify the extreme water proofing of this bag.

where did You get it for $200, BH lists it for $270 - too pricey IMHO, but for $200 in black I would consider one

I got it at B&H two weeks ago at $200. The DryZone 100 was the same price that day too. Must have been lucky.

I'm with niko on the harness belt. I have an old AW treker and tuck the belt back into the sides to keep them out of the way. not sure if you can do that with this pack.

When I've got 2 bodies, a 300mm prime, a 14-24 and a tripod all stuff into it I am pretty glad I have the harness to balance out the bag for long hikes.
