Supposedly the first new lenses in the E-mount will be a 18-55/F3.5-5.6 and a 16mm/2.8.
A Nikon F-mount adapter would be very interesting with this camera if Sony is in fact going to make it APS-C!
I uess it's going to be SDHC, as most of the new one sony cameras support SD cards.

Sony is making their own brand of SDHC cards now so I'm sure it will have such a memory slot. If these specs are true then I wonder why Sony is making two separate cameras with different HD specs. Why not just one model with a selectable 1080 or 720 HD settings?
Looks like this "rumor" seems to be all but official (according to alpharumors). The source seems "solid". The only question now is whether one of these cameras gets announced at PMA or, as the rumor suggest, they show up until September at Photokina.

Now that Sony have shown their still unnamed (non-functioning) prototype and have confirmed that it will be an APS sensor I think the pressure is on both Nikon and Canon to announce their EVIL intentions. I say announce because that is all Sony have done. They have not specified the exact time frame when it will be available or just what the specifications will be beyond it being an APS sensor.
The latest rumor about these new Sony EVIL cameras is that they will have image stabilization in the lens! Apparently the camera bodies will be smaller that way. Since they have to create a new set of lenses that makes sense but doesn't that make it seem like Nikon and canon have been doing it right all along? Could in lens VR be a big benefit to Nikon now with EVIL cameras?
It's going to be weird- one company, 2 lens mounts? That's going to confuse the consumers.
