Hi everyone,

I've been a happy owner of a D300 since it came out, but I've been looking forwards to go full-frame and I'm into filming too...

So as many may ask... When is Nikon going to release a FULL FRAME, 1080P capable DSLR to compete with CANON's 5D (or 1D anyway)???? What are the latest news? When to expect something like that to happen (if to happen?)

Or am I just gonna have to drop Nikon and and go Canon (and sell old/buy new gear package)?

I'd hate to do that, come on Nikon, dammit!

Anybody has any clue? Thanks

Do a search as this has been answered many times before HDParis. Short answer is YES eventually Nikon will. The D700 and D90 are due for replacement sometime this year. If you don't wont to wait then go with canon.

And it better have some awesome video functionality because Canon is going to improve its video even more on it's 5D replacement that's coming. And the 5D is VERY popular for video.
