Do any of you know if there is a way to open .NEF files from a Nikon D90 in CS3 if Pshop refuses to recognize the format after Ive installed the Drivers For the D90 (and several other cameras) that I got from the Adobe website. I've had this problem for 8 months. The Raw files from the D700 and D80 open fine though.

Download and install CameraRAW 4.6.0.30 (not newer) from Adobe website.

Yep, CameraRAW is what actually opens NEF files in photoshop.

I have had Camera raw 4.6 installed this whole time (8 months) and have tried reinstalling it several times. Raw files from the D700 and D80 have loaded fine since Ive done the 4.2-4.6 install last July

try to reinstall the whole software (and switch to mac :D), but seriously try to reinstall the software and download the latest camera raw

How did you install Camera Raw?
