I have been a silent browser for some time and just now registered and seek your valuable suggestions & Comments on the topic of upgrading my Nikon NX to NX2. Would be it worth upgrading as I already have Aperture (on Mac OS 10.6.2)??

If you use NEF definitely yes.

Welcome to the forum, Balton. I think you should try out NX2 with the 30 day trial and then decide.

I agree - try out the trial version (which is a full working copy).

The trail will give you unlimited use for a full 60 days! It's certainly worth trying (for many it takes that long to figure everything out). As many here on NR will tell you, I swear by Capture NX2. I upgraded from one and I think it's better; a couple of easier features and it's more stable and doesn't run quite as slow.

Thanks for the feedback. One gripe I had with NX was the relative speed and if that is improved, I will definitely try the trial version.

    Cheers all,
