I'm looking for some software that is hopefully free that will stitch a relatively simple time lapse together. Anyone have suggestions?

QuickTime gives you ability to put files and set frame rate for them... I think u can also add music to it but I havent tried it

ill have to try that! i was going to make a short movie on my d3 and put them together.
aka chase jarvis has a video on his blog of him shooting 21,000 photos all night at a party and put them all together. its real neat

Try this, too. I've liked using it. It does startrails stacking or time lapse movies and it's free.
