Alright, sorry to be making another one of these threads, but I am just not sure if I got a good deal. I can still return the items tomorrow if I want. SO I am seeking your advice if I got a good deal or not.

    For $350

I got Nikon MB 200 plus two Nikon Enle batteries, Nikon Sb800 with the 5th battery compartment.

For grip and two batteries I paid $100 and for the SB800 I gave $250

I am more versed in lenses prices than flashes and batteries. I really like the grip, I don't particularly care about the Sb800, but I thought that it was a good price, so I took a plunge.

    yay or nay?

Sounds like a decent deal to me as long as everything works :^)

Yup, they guy used it only a couple of times. He's now an owner of a Leica, so he snobs everything else. Selling all of his Nikon equipment. He still has his D200 for sale. But well I got one already.

The sb800 is worth more than the price You paid so IMHO You made a good deal.

I really don't know. Personally I find it very cumbersome.

No the SB900 doesn't need the 5th battery to recycle as fast or faster than the SB800

Yup, great deal. SB-800s go for over $400 on eBay, when they do show up. I got the last new one in stock at my local shop, although not that cheap!
