I just noticed amazon was running a special on Lightroom for $188 today. If you are interested in a legit non-student version of Lightroom, this is probably as good a deal as you are going to get for a while.
Of course the reason its this cheap is because light room 3.0 will be released shortly. I'm an Apple Aperture man myself, but Lightroom is great software. I just discovered the localized adjustment tools last night (I do all my touch up work in NIK plugins so I've never messes with it much).
Now if I could only get Photoshop CS3 for the same discount LOL.
