I was wondering what methods people use to increase contrast?
I prefer the unsharp mask method where I set the radius at 250 and play with the amount around 4-20% percent depending on the shot.
How do you increase contrast in PP?

Im curious in your post. Though i know very little in PP. What does the unsharp mask method do by setting radius up at 250? What does it do to the image?

It basically increases the contrast of the image and is less destructive than the contrast slider. I didn't bother to remember the exact science behind it as it didn't make much difference. The only thing I needed to remember about it was that you put the Radius at 250 and leave it there. You play around with Amount. Now come to think of it, I don't remember what you should do with Threshold.

Hmmm, I'll have to try that out! I've been just using the sliding bar >.<
