Does anyone here use their LCD screens rather than their viewfinder to shoot?
When I "learned" to shoot with a 35mm camera years ago I was told to put my left hand under the lens (focus and aperture) with my right hand holding the camera, index finger squeezing the shutter with my elbows tucked against my body in order to reduce vibration. Now I see people holding DSLR's at arms-length taking photos. I know VR helps, but it just seems like very bad, image compromising form. (I'm not thinking of working PJs taking crowd shots.)
Perhaps I'm just old and grumpy.
