OK, so this shoot was done on a Canon 5D Mark II, but when I saw it I thought it was really incredible, and had to share it with you guys. Actually the company that shot it is a Phase One, and Canon dealer to demonstrate some of the creative things that can be done with their products.

It is a video shot by a series still images (one every 30 seconds) over a 48 hour period in Miami. The camera was tethered to a computer using Capture One, and a script to fire the camera every 30 seconds.

That is so unreal! Particularly when the big cruise ships come in and turn around.

Those cruise ships are pretty wild looking, I also found the moon surreal.

This is great. I think most stuff in time lapse or super slomo is interesting. the motion of the clouds really grab me in this.

Thank you for sharing, I love those videos. It appears he captures a frame every 10 to 15 seconds. They truly look great.

I'm doing a time lapse on a point and shoot right now of the snow, should I lock exposure?

I know that locking exposure gives the transition from night to day to be more dramatic, but when I lock exposure, it seems to be "flat", no transition. Any thoughts?

By the way, I don't think I can edit the photos individually afterwards, or at least in a batch. It's a .mov or Quicktime file format.

Stupid 7 year old point and shoot. :D

By the way, the Vancouver one was amazing. I didn't like the panning too much though, too choppy. I prefer it to be smoother.

wait even when you lock the exposure...

i would think that its not locking if, say, night images were still bright.
