Wow, great stuff everyone. Thought I'd add a little "architectural porn" to the mix. I know that some of you all live in the Bay Area and probably take the financial district for granted. Great buildings though.

@CE: The church is St. Catherine's Parish and is located in Somerville, Massachusetts.

The Sikhs have a long history of martial prowess .... and they continue to form a large chunk of the Indian Armed Forces.

Here is another GBH from today. I think the Tammy likes the cold weather. brrr it was cold and windy today.
Lots of interesting images posted. Fun to visit individual photostreams and explore the shots that are shared here. Very inspirational!
My share is another landscape in the desert of the southwest. Capitol Reef - Golden Thrown, a very appropriate formation name.

@adamz - Your composition is always spot on. Such a great eye.
@regulator - Such a great capture of the impending season.
A couple friends wanted to capture some options for a Christmas card this year. The lighting was very tricky to work with, but I think it came out nice.

In a bizarre sequence of interactions over the past few days, me and a close friend have decided to pursue a relationship! This is a new thing for me - have been single all of my 24 years - and is completely exciting. I'm trying to not broadcast this too much because I don't want to sound boastful, but I feel like I can share this here since you all at NRF are about as far removed as possible from the Midatlantic folk dancing communities that she and I participate in. And shoot, this really is exciting and I want to shout "HEY SOMETHING COOL IS HAPPENING!" but I will use some discretion I suppose. This is her, from a recent dancing road trip to Vermont. Focus is too far back but you get the idea.

El-Pickerel well that's cool and very discreet to. Only the whole world knows now. Good luck. I see not much photo gear in your future.
@El_Pickerel: wishing you both fun and happiness. Thanks for lets us in on what is happening in your life. But know this...it is a very small world we live in. :P
Congrats El_Pick! She has a very happy smile.
Great photo fizzking.
