Browsed through my pictures from this summer. Looking out of the window now on a dull and rainy november day, it is quite a contrast.

Always, it is such a pleasure to view the great works here on PAD.
And for me, another "Snapshot" taken in a rest stop, somewhere in the midwest USA.
Oh, these are the arms which are driven by the wind in the power generating windmills around the country.

So many neat photos here. Thanks all for the comments on the Bass Creek photo.
Adamz, one thing I really like about your images, such as the one of the heron or whatever bird it is, is the simplicity of the image. The clean lines communicate a certain elegance.Posted 6 months ago # -

golf007sd: this is the watch I wear 90% of the time. All the others are primarily a collection I play with now and then when I "dress up" for some event. I don't photograph watches on my wrist because I don't think that makes a pretty picture. So I shoot them like this:
D80, 18-55 "kit" lens. That old body and that "cheap" lens are sharp enough for PAD, aren't they?

Had a busy weekend of shooting which was great. Did some Christmas card photos and then shot some promo shots for a local musician.
This is one of the promo shots. The lighting in the lobby where this piano was located was nearly non-existant. Made good use of off camera flash and the softbox.

Early in the month and already so many great shots. I really look forward to seeing the new images each day. My contribution is city lights.

A couple backpackers I ran into on the Appalachian Trail in late August. They are from North Carolina, started walking in Georgia, and I met them in northern New Jersey while I was on a short trip. It is so nice to walk along other backpackers and share our stories of the trail.

Nice photos everyone.
Wild peacock is having a good time eating fresh sown seeds in a farm. Those barbed fenced are to prevent cattle and not birds.

@Bland - beautiful, I must haul my butt to LV once :)
@SquamishPhoto - another good photo
@wjl7727 - great landscape
@coastalconn - love this shot, great timing
@kanuck -the execution is great, though I don't get what's the main subject on this photo
@amvj - I really like the colours on Your snap, but the angle is poor so is the background. this picture would be much better if You could knee and reposition Yourself around 2-3 meters either left or right (to get rid of this stone in the background)
@El_Pickerel - love the mood on Your shot, nice timing
@greybagel - nice portrait and very interesting angle
