In keeping with the unusual theme here today.... the mirrors on a helicopter to allow the pilot a view under the chopper when landing and when picking up or dropping from the hook.

Something different, a little candid street photo. The lady on the bike was in mid-yawn when I shot this. In a way I think the Texas Hold'em image plays into the scene with her expression.

lubos, welcome to PAD. Very nice use of shutter speed.

Wow, the quality of shots in a mere 24 hour span here is phenomenal.
@Squamish - Awesome as always. Are you shooting bare flash? Would love to see what you could pull off with soft light.
Spent some time with a black and white edit. This shot I originally wrote off, but took a chance with the black and white conversion.

OK, since everyone was nice yesterday, will post another...
I will say that posting to PAD is a bit intimidating with all of the amazing shots put out here.
This one was from an early morning in Victoria, BC as the crew was getting ready to head out for a regatta. The light was very low and when I went to get the camera, the water was glass. By the time I got it set up the wind had started up.
Would love some feedback on this one as any type of landscape shot is not my usual area. Let me know what you think works / doesn't work in this one.

Awesome Coastal, it's almost embarrassing to follow one of your bird shots with one of my own. These feet belong to an aptly named blue-footed booby. These birds exhibit no fear of man whatsoever and will tolerate you walking within a few feet of them.

@proudgeek: I like those slow birds too. Great pages the past few days.

More cosplay. Maybe I'll take a break from it tomorrow.

@cpgregorio - I love the fishmarket shot but I'm wondering about the background because everything is crystal sharp up to a point, then the background goes blurry. Is the shot like this or some PP afterwards?
