    Steep Passage to the Skytrain

Walking around Vancouver I remembered this escalator to the sky train. Even this picture doesn't do it justice with how steep it is.

Shot on a Nikon D90 with a Nikkor 10.5 fisheye lens.

This could not be just a lens, some serous filtering was applied, good though

    I used the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8

    No special filters.

Very nice lens indeed, very round diaphragm to produce stars like that...

@ aesnakes, that should be printed, mounted and framed. Well done.

@aesnakes, I love the shot, the only thing bothering me is the missing leg of the lady.

Thank you monty11, Regulator75 and NikoDoby

@monty11: I never thought about it, I have some other shots where people are further up the escalators but the angle is a bit different. Perhaps they would have been better choices. Im used to that much snow but brrr, I love the hanging ice around the moving waterfall.

@Regulator75: Thank you Im glad it turned out for a snapshot at the end of the day. I love the clouds surrounding the mountains, i dont think i have ever been to Valemount. The bottom of the image has me wanting more contrasts in the trees though as they look a bit muddy in the blacks.
