    That's a funny one, mb.

I love the balance there with the out of focus doll, regulator.

How did that ship sink, exactly, PE? I've always wondered why someone would trust a boat if they knew it was the second time it was floating. Refurbished works for some things, but not for boats for me. Then again, I do live in the desert. ;-)

Here's my microscope in 3D. I put two different "skill levels" here just in case the bigger one is too hard to do. If you haven't done one of these, you have to look through the images so that the right and left images merge into one 3D image. This is the microscope I've been running for the past 3.5 years.

As my non de plume suggest I do astrophotography occasionally.

This is M31, the Andromeda Galaxy. A stack of 8 - 5 minute exposures D300 and 300 mm f2.8 piggyback on my Celestron. In astronomy a 300 mm is wide field.

Also, is this the biggest "thing" postesd to P-A-D?

    I like that low-key, low-contrast shot, devilsyam.

Fabulous, astro, although this picture points out that 'thing' is probably a bit too vague for the PAD category. I'm pretty sure this is the biggest (and oldest) thing or place posted so far. That could really be an APOD candidate.

astrophotographer - I would say that the best part of astro photography is that You don't see the grain, or at leas it's probably hard to distinguish where's a star and where's a grain

I just had some Insanely hot curry from that place. I actually started sweating at my desk. If you are ever in Austin looking for something that "Hurts So Good" I highly recommend Madam Mam's.
