Great expressions Skid!

Great shots, skid. I think that self-portrait would work well B&W, too.
Chris, I like the composition in that train shot.

Nice shots Chris but I'm noticing the above image could have used a bit of dodging. No big deal just saying.

Yeah, my P67 doesn't have a light meter so I just use what my eyes tell me. I metered about a half stop under on that one, so when I get around to actually printing it I'll probs have to do a little dodging. I usually just correct neg scans for contrast and dust, I don't do any editing really until I actually make a print in the darkroom.

Ha Ha! "Analog Chris" still does his dodging and burning in the computer! Wimp :^)

I meant I do my dodging and burning under the enlarger, and then scan the print. But unfortunately I don't always have the time for that, so occasionally I have to settle with a neg scan (on which I only correct for contrast and dust marks). Neg scans never get any special treatment from me really, unless it's a shot intended strictly for digital display :)
You should see my collection of home made wire dodging wands.

Thanks, aprille. Your beach shots have made me wish I didn't live in a frozen wasteland this time of year.

Great shot Jonny—what's the building in the back?BTW, I took a look at your EXIF and I saw a long list of "Paint Correction Mask Dabs"—did you do a lot of retouching?
It's the mormon temple in Salt Lake City; that's where they got married, though I only did their engagement and bridals and not their wedding.
Lightroom is weird that it includes those brush tool corrections in the exif. In this case, it was just a desaturation mask to make the word (PLA)ZA on the left side grey instead of distracting neon red. I think this is, so far, the shot where I have been most impressed with Nikon's CLS. I just exposed for the building, took my SB-600 in wireless TTL and held it off-camera left then triggered my camera with a remote release. Easy peasy, as they say. Shots like this make my buddy with his canon 5D pretty jealous.

The only criticism I have is I'm missing the audio, Chris. Beautiful. Your last was, as well.
Aprille, great mood and color.

Chris- those last two...amazing. I'm not even kidding. Especially the second one.
