In other words Nikon will stop making the old model a few months before a new release. So the old model will usually sell at the same price. It just won't be restocked. The D90 is already pretty low so I doubt it will go any lower. If it does it's because the retailer hasn't been able to sell it and will lower the price to a clearance item, etc.
The new model will be more expensive. I would say around $999-1200USD.
