gosh! that was a long clip!
well done but the music is too annoying and repetitive (I guess it was looped).

Yes long, but shows that Nikon can make quality advertisement, this kind of thing with better sound and shorter length

What Nikon needs is a certain advertisement style that build brand recognition, you see any add and you just know it is from Nikon. Canon has a bit of that, but sadly Nikon has add that portrays idiots playing with camera gear

Have a look at Olympus' new campaign with Kevin Spacey ... a totally different caliber: http://www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/22521.htm

I am not sure this is what I like to see in Nikon advertisement, a bit to much of a smartass add if I should say. Nikon's adds have to touch people, make them want to take pictures, fill up their harddrives with great images

in the old D5000 video (not the ashton martin one), I liked the "so simple... all the pictures have been taken by children" motto.
the editing is pro work for sure but the shots have a candid feel that I find in my own children's shots.

Thanks Pere for locating them on Youtube, when the news came out only one was uploaded and I didn't check again when I posted it here.

I however like the messages that the Olympus puts forward ... point-and-shoot: it's a crime ... how true :D

"Hey you know, call me. Let's make beautiful pictures together."

That very pick-up line totally worked on my wife when I met her! :^)

Is it me or does Kevin Spacey look very sick in those commercials?

The Olympus message might be true, but it is also a bit arrogant, and not a way to sell your cameras to everyone, your add should want people to get a camera, preferable a Nikon and get out and take pictures and being you bought a Nikon the point-and-shoots are going to turn out great

I love how Ashton "blocks" the Nikon pros... Lol -15 points. They really need to be more creative and not only try to appeal to 13 year old girls by using a popular actor.

I still like Olympus's way of advertising smart and cocky. Doesn't mean Nikon should follow but they need to change what they are doing...

ashton kutcher, sells cameras. Ask anyone at the stores where these items are sold. It will amaze you. My non scientific poll confirmed the demand for all things ashton. the people i spoke with said folks walked in asking for the Ashton Kutcher camera. They did not care for nor want anything else.

Amazing isn't it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Marketing.
