Those are some insane shots! I think I'll stick with my Amateur title please.
I'm with Phil. I must be an e-pro (meaning a pro to all my online friends). BTW, that is one of my favorite Beck songs—it has a great cadence for hills on my bike.

Both photographers have official event vests, I would think both of them are pros, one just crazier than the other.
That's a real photographer right there. Anything for the shot.
The difference between amateur and pro ...is the pro has to take other peoples crap.
I take my own crap ...
Cannot say much about what was happening, think you get the drift ...they were 1.5mtr away and I could see the veins on his neck popping.
I would have to say the pro is the one that took the first picture, with the two photographers and funny car in it.
If you look at where the "amateur" was standing and where the car is in the second picture, it's a good thing he was running...
He didn't want to "break" his Canon.
Not the smartest decision any one has ever made. But cool pics.
